IT Support Engineer
$55,000 - $70,000 + Overtime

middle has partnered exclusively with a client who is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join their already great team based in New York, United States. This full-time, on-site position requires an individual who is passionate about technology and thrives in providing exceptional support to ensure seamless IT operations for their clients.
As an IT Support Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining and supporting their client's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
- Manage and maintain Active Directory and Microsoft O365 environments.
- Configure and support DHCP/DNS settings and Entra ID.
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows 10 operating systems.
- Provide top-notch client support and interface directly with clients.
- Configure and manage desktops, servers, and networking equipment.
- Handle user onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Participate in new client onboardings and onsite hardware installations.
- Troubleshoot hardware issues alongside Senior Engineers.
- Manage internal inventory and client assets.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support.
Required Skills:
- A minimum of 1 year of network or help desk support experience.
- Ideally with previous experience with Managed Services Providers (MSP).
- Proficiency with Windows 10 desktop.
- Familiarity with Active Directory Users and Groups.
- Experience in DHCP/DNS troubleshooting.
- Competence with the Microsoft O365 ecosystem.
- Expertise in hardware staging, deployment, and desktop support.
- Strong hardware troubleshooting skills.
