IT Support Manager (MSP)
$90,000 - $110,000
Remote – Occasional visits in the Tri-State region.
middle has partnered with a client who is seeking an MSP IT Support Manager to join their already great team. This full-time, fully remote position however you will be required to go on client visits in the Tr-State region to discuss client strategy, SLA reviews and operations.
As an MSP IT Support Manager, you will be managing a team of circa 10 Engineers at various levels (1st to 3rd) but still act as a senior technical escalation point. This position will suit someone with client management, client-facing skills looking to take their next step into a management role within an MSP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client account management – SLA reviews, review client’s tech stacks, project management
- Team management – managing a team of circa 10 Engineers, performing monthly and yearly 1:1’s, auditing documentation, hiring new team members and performing training.
- Technology deployments - Help design, configure, install, and maintain clients’ front and back-end infrastructure systems, including servers, networks, cloud systems, security systems and workstations.
- Performance root cause analysis (RCA) to reduce common tickets.
- Manage internal inventory and client assets.
- Perform on-site client visits – Help to onboard new clients, strategize with existing clients and general relationship building.
Required Skills:
- Previous Team Lead or Management experience is required.
- Competent troubleshooting and deploying Windows Server Operating Systems
- Solid technical experience with Networking and Firewalls (Cisco Meraki)
- Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace administration
- Experience with Intune MDM
- Windows and macOS desktop support
- Ideally with knowledge and experience of Virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V)
