Senior IT Support Engineer

Up to £45,000

North London (Hybrid 3 days in per week)

 

middle is partnered exclusively with a fast-growing MSP (IT Consultancy) based in North London to find a Senior IT Engineer who will be working onsite with one of their clients.

 

 

As an IT Support Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining and supporting their client's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
  • Manage and maintain Active Directory and Microsoft O365 environments.
  • Configure and support DHCP/DNS settings and Entra ID.
  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows 10 operating systems.
  • Provide top-notch client support and interface directly with clients.
  • Configure and manage desktops, servers, and networking equipment.
  • Handle user onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Participate in new client onboardings and onsite hardware installations.
  • Troubleshoot hardware issues alongside Senior Engineers.
  • Manage internal inventory and client assets.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support.

Required Skills:

  • A minimum of 2 year of network or help desk support experience.
  • Ideally with previous experience with Managed Services Providers (MSP).
  • Proficiency with Windows 10/11 desktop.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory/Entra ID.
  • Experience in DHCP/DNS troubleshooting.
  • Strong networking troubleshooting skills (Firewalls, VPN, Switches, Routers)
  • Expertise in hardware staging, deployment, and desktop support.
