Tier 2 IT Support Engineer (MSP)
$70,000 - $85,000 + Overtime

middle has partnered exclusively with a client who is seeking an L2/Tier 2 IT Support Engineer to join their already great team based in New York, United States. This full-time, on-site position requires an individual who is passionate about technology and thrives in providing exceptional support to ensure seamless IT operations for their clients.
As a Tier 2 IT Support Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining and supporting their client's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 2 technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
- Manage and maintain Active Directory and Microsoft O365 environments.
- Keep in line with client SLA’s and input accurate documentation
- Collaborate on projects related to network refreshes, server upgrades, cloud migrations, implementing backups etc.
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows 11 operating systems.
- Provide top-notch client support and interface directly with clients.
- Configure and manage desktops, servers, and networking equipment.
- Handle user onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Provide technical support to the L1/Tier 1 engineers, acting as an escalation responder.
- Manage internal inventory and client assets.
Required Skills:
- Previous experience with Managed Services Providers (MSP).
- Proficiency with Windows 11
- Experience configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting Meraki and Ubiquiti networking devices.
- Must have experience building, deploying migrating and troubleshooting, virtual and physical servers (Domain Controllers, TS, DNS, File, App and SQL servers)
- Experience deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD’s).
- Competence with the Microsoft O365 ecosystem.
- Proficient in using Entra ID and Entra SSO.
- Expertise in hardware staging, deployment, and desktop support.
- Veeam Backups configuration
- Experience in complex environments such as network segmentation, setting up failover, site to site VPNs).
- Ideally some experience or knowledge of the following - Ninja RMM, Halo PSA, ITGlue, Parallels, Proofpoint and Ironscales, Immybot, Rewst.
